Hi. I'm trying to read features from a WFS service. I can read the features ok based on a spatial filter but the option to use a WHERE clause on an attribute does not seem to be available. Any idea how to fix this?

What version is your FME?
Did you try to use the option XML Filter Expression?

I'm using 2018 version. This is the screenshot with the WHERE clause greyed out. I'm curious as to why this is as it seems to be possible to read the features in this way using QGIS. Will try the XML filter expression.

Yes, try to use the XML Filter expression inside the transformer Feature Reader.
