The Training PostGIS Database is a public facing database that anyone can write to; this means that data sometimes gets overwritten. If you are trying to use some data from the database for an exercise, but it doesn’t look correct, follow this tutorial to reset it to the correct data.
Most of the data that Safe Software has added is available as Read-Only and should not be written over. If you notice a dataset has been written over and is no longer correct, please contact the Safe Support Team to Report the Problem
1) Open FME Workbench
Download and open the PostGIS-Reset.fmwt in FME Workbench. This workspace contains all of the necessary datasets to reset the data in the Training PostGIS Database.

2) Run the workspace
Without modifying anything, run the workspace. This will update all of the datasets listed above in the Training PostGIS Database. The data should be ready to be used again in your own workspace.
If you have lost the connection information in the PostGIS-Reset.fmwt workspace, enter the following parameters under fmedata [POSTGIS] Writer in the Navigator pane:
